Michigan to dump ACT for SAT as high school requirement

Detroit Free Press - If you're a high school sophomore in Michigan, get ready for a dramatic shift in testing during your junior year: The ACT is out and the SAT is in. 

The state announced Wednesday it was awarding a $17.1-million, three-year contract to have the SAT as the high school assessment.
